Until a yarn bomb landed on Rocky statue in in font of the Philadelphia Art Museum in April 2011 I was completely unaware of this knitting "graffiti" phenomenon....

Although interesting as an art installation I'm going out on a limb here and say that "comfortable creepy" is not going to catch on quite like "shabby chic" did!
But this could be cool in the right space...
